The following is a special invitation letter from Frank David of Midwest Woodworking:

Welcome to the first Midwest Woodworking lumber, veneer and machinery sale scheduled on August 16-17, 2013 from 9am-2pm.

You will have the rare opportunity to purchase lumber from the collection of Joe and Frank David who over decades have amassed 300,000+ board feet of the finest examples of rare and popular lumber.

You will find “Genuine Virgin” Brazilian Rosewood in the rough [scratch and sniff – for the proof], imported before the embargo.  Domestic Wormy Chestnut, Cherry, and Red Gum that was cut into lumber 140 years ago, you cannot find a more environmently stable board anywhere.  The balance of our lumber is at least 30 to 40 years old and always stored indoors.

The Sapele and Makore are Boule cut in Germany and France, thus they are flitch matched for special projects. All lumber is figured as net tally and will be figured as length in inches by width in inches by thickness in inches divided by 144.

Machining is available with crosscut to length (FREE), Jointing and Planeing on our 63cm – 24” plus wide machines as well as our 1300mm – 52” – wide belt sander and our 4” power ripsaw figured at $ 72.00 per hour and billed in 15 minute increments.  The cost is for the use of the machine.  Plant personnel will set them up; however, labor to move the lumber is by the customer.  If our personnel are not occupied otherwise they will assist you with machining.

Thank you for considering and participating in our first ever Lumber, Veneer and Machinery Sale

Happy Shopping !!!!

– Frank David
